ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The IM Data Graduate Trainee is responsible for collecting, centralizing and consolidating large amounts of data from multiple sources by applying data extraction, transforming and load techniques which allow organizations to derive valuable business insights from their data to improve decision-making and enables reporting and analysis. The individual will collaborate with Data Architects and Solution Architects in defining necessary architecture, design and build data engineering solutions for business enablement. Identify, source and make available key data required for day to day operational reporting and analytics in the Analytics Ecosystem platform. Implement an automated data orchestration and quality solution to ensure reliable and readily available data. Create and publish data products to enable strategic business initiatives in the Analytics Ecosystem platform. Drive the best practice within the organisation in terms of the strategic integration of a decision support database and the related software programs used to collect, cleanse, transform, and store data from a variety of operational and external sources

Qualifications and Experience:

University Bachelor’s Degree or BTech or Equivalent NQF Level 7
Data Engineering certification will be an advantage
 

Experience:
Exposure to IT or Data related roles or projects
