Job Context

SERVEST SECURITY , A DIVISION OF SERVEST (PTY) LTD HAS A VACANCY FOR A CONTRACT MANAGER BASED IN ISANDO, REPORTING TO THE GENERAL MANAGER. MUST HAVE A RELEVANT TERTIARY QUALIFICATION AND PSIRA GRADE A REGISTERED.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12

Grade A PSIRA registered, Firearm Competency for Business Purposes

A tertiary qualification in Security or any related field would be an advantage

At least 3-5 years’ experience as a Contract Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

Rosters for the site/sites under your control to be handed to the employees no later than the 10th of each month.

Report changes to rosters to Roster Clerk and ensure that the changes are made, and new rosters delivered.

maintain discipline in a fair and impartial manner on every site.

Site management and attend all serious incidents

Supply full statements to the client and Branch Manager

compiled and forwarded to the Branch/Ops Manager and the client within 48 hours of the incident occurring..

OB to be checked and signed daily, patrol of the site to be conducted.

All registers and other documentation to be checked daily.

Ensure that Job Descriptions, Risk Assessments and Site Procedure Manuals are in the site file that must be available at the on-site security office/control room.

Contract Manager to ensure that casual contracts are approved via email by the client before posting any guards on site.

Give immediate attention to client problems and feedback to be supplied to the client and Branch Manager in writing.

Feedback to be given to client and Branch manager on all remedial action taken on points raised during client visits.

Assist management where needed
